Cheaper is better?

I have to laugh to myself when I overhear people talking about this or that "great computer deal". Seriously, what other product do people think that the cheapest item is okay? Cars? Watches? Women? Toilet Paper? Peanut Butter? Hell No! So why is it that so many people go for the bargain basement in computer technology? I'll tell you why - it's because they are scared - they don't know what's going on inside that little magical box, and rather than risk getting burned they look for the cheapest way out. This is one of the big reasons so many users have switched to Macs - they bought crappy discount computers and had a bad experience. Ummmm, you have learned that get what you pay for?

Factor in that over time you will be spending more on "other stuff" than you did on the computer itself, and this is where the opportunity lies. Miscellaneous software, anti-virus protection, extended warranties, and tech support can cost you dearly.

Anyway, my point is that when you purchase something technology-related that you intend to use all the time you DO NOT want to skimp on quality!
